Hi! I’m Kelly Six
Nice to meet ya!
I’m a dietitian, diabetes educator, and someone who deeply believes that you deserve care that nurtures your whole self. My therapeutic approach blends science with honoring your lived experience and intuition. I work from a trauma-informed, weight-inclusive, queer lens always led by your values, not a set of rigid rules.
Training and Education
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with emphases in gender, sexualities, and feminism from the University of San Francisco (2013).
I earned my master’s in Nutrition from Bastyr University (2020), and completed my dietetic internship through Cal Poly in 2021.
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). I continue deepening my work through trainings and support in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Polyvagal Theory.
Some stuff about me, the human
I have two orange cats who show up in most of my photos (and probably will show up during our sessions, too). I’m a little messy, a recovering perfectionist, and I say “fuck” a lot.
I love trashy reality TV, the kind that makes you cringe but you cannot stop watching.
I am most myself in the sun, with a cat, eating snacks (currently really into pretzels with mustard).
